On this hardcore death match we have:
The Alchemist takes a rare step away from the production boards to spend time with us, delivering an epic 40 minute interview. We talk Gangrene, Step Brothers, Dilated Peoples, Madlib, Eminem, Detox and more in this lively and free flowing head-to-head with every rappers beat-making poster boy. They are saying Dr Dre's Detox is ready and has a release date - will Alchemist reveal a secret? Essential listening.
Rhymefest is an artist whose talent is appreciated by hip hop fans and non-hip hop fans worldwide. But has he been given the credit and recognition that he deserves? In this blockbuster interview, we take a journey which is enlightening, intelligent and at times, tragic. We discuss politics and his meeting with UK politician and leader of the Conservative Party, David Cameron - an interesting insight, especially in the light of the forthcoming UK elections. He reflects upon how his music has been banned from Shade45 because of politics and black-listed by UK problem-man DJ Semtex, who then got the entire BBC to outlaw Fest's songs because of his comments regarding amateur UK group, SAS. We also talk about him being an unofficial member of Little Brother, Alligator Boots, Common's new album, Charles Hamilton and much more. The whole interview went where no other Rhymefest interview will.
Consequence has a new album, "ConsTV", on the way, executively produced by his mentor Kayne West and his cousin Q Tip. The amount of energy this guy radiates is phenomenal and you will find it hard not to be inspired by the realistic optimism flowing through his voice. We talk Q Tip, A Tribe Called Quest, Kayne West and much more in a bright, sunshine-filled, spring's day of an interview.
Tanya Morgan are with us in the form of highly successful wordsmith, Don Will. We discuss his new album High Fidelity, an album inspired by the cult film of the same name. Don even finds time to offer his own relationship advice, past relationships, how he finds love and if he worries about groupies riding off his rising fame.
Keak Da Sneak is a hip hop legend. His work ethic and consistency is mirrored by few and throughout this interview we talk Too Short, E 40, the development of hyphy,Mac Dre and so much more with one go hip hop's most rated but often uncredited, musical powerhouses.
AND THAT'S NOT ALL!
Rhyme Asylum join us to explore their new album featuring such guests as Ill Bill, as well as handing to us the world premiere of their track featuring Crooked I. Hear what it takes to be one of the UK's shining lights as they offer advice and explain why they don't collaborate with many UK artists.
Enjoy!
